Shri Manohar Lal, Hon’ble Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Development, Government of India, as a part of his 02-day visit to J&K to review the different Hydro Power Projects, visited Pakal Dul (1000 MW), Kiru (624 MW) and Kwar (540 MW) HE Project sites in district Kishtwar on 05.01.2026. During his visit, the Hon’ble Minister was accompanied by Sh. Pankaj Agarwal, Secretary-Power, GoI, Sh. Bhupender Gupta, CMD-NHPC Limited, Sh. Sanjay Singh, Director-Projects, NHPC Limited , Sh. Ramesh Mukhiya, MD-CVPPL, Sh. U K Nand, ED-PMSG, NHPC Limited , Sh. M K Kashyap, CEO-RHPCL, Deputy Commissioner-Kishtwar, SSP-Kishtwar, ACR-Kishtwar and the Heads of Projects of Pakal Dul, Kiru and Kwar HEPs.
