Transmission System for evacuation of Power from Pakal Dul (1000 MW), Kiru (624 MW) and Kwar (540 MW) HE Projects of CVPPL 11-Feb-2025

In another significant development, the Site Inspection for the Forest Area of 69.355 Ha involved for Implementation of Transmission System for evacuation of Power from Pakal Dul (1000 MW), Kiru (624 MW) and Kwar (540 MW) HE Projects of CVPPL was conducted by Sh. Sandeep Kumar (IFS), Conservator of Forests, Chenab Circle on 07.02.2025 before accord of Forest Clearance. The Site Inspection of said Transmission System was accompanied by Officers of CVPPL & PGCIL.
The said Transmission System shall evacuate the Generated Power from three Hydro Projects viz. Pakal Dul (1000 MW), Kiru (624 MW) and Kwar (540 MW) HE Projects of CVPPL which involves Construction of 400 kV, D/C, Triple HTLS Transmission Lines having length around 37 kms shall be completed in line with Commissioning Schedule of these Hydro Projects.
