Successful Lowering of ‘Draft Tube Diffuser’ in Unit-1 of Kiru HE Project (624MW) 05-Dec-2024

In a major step towards commissioning of Kiru HE Project, presently under active construction by CVPPL (a Joint Venture of NHPC and JKSPDC), ‘Draft Tube Diffuser’ weighing 16.5 Ton, was successfully lowered in Unit-1 on 04.12.2024. The Milestone was achieved in the presence of Sh. Ramesh Mukhiya, Managing Director-CVPPL, Sh. Ramesh Ojha, HoP-Kiru HEP and other officers from CVPPL, M/s Andritz Hydro (contractor for E&M package works of Kiru HE Project) and M/s Patel Engineering (contractor for Civil package works of Kiru HE Project).
On the occasion, Sh. Ramesh Mukhiya, Managing Director - CVPPL congratulated the entire team of Kiru HE Project, M/s Andritz Hydro and M/s Patel Engineering.
