CVPPL signs PPAs with MSEDCL, Maharashtra and Bihar Discoms 01-Jul-2025

In a significant development, Chenab Valley Power Projects Limited (CVPPL) has signed Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with MSEDCL (Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd.) for off-take of power from its Pakal Dul HE Project (1000 MW), Kiru HE Project (624 MW) and Kwar HE Project (540 MW). The PPAs were signed by Sh. Sanil Chandra, General Manager (Civil), CVPPL and Sh. Dinesh Agrawal, Executive Director (Commercial), MSEDCL on 30.06.2025 at Mumbai in presence of senior officers of MSEDCL, NHPC and RHPCL.
Also, CVPPL has signed PPA with Bihar Discoms in respect of Kiru HE Project at Patna on 30.06.2025. The PPA was signed by Sh. Amrik Singh, Group General Manager (Planning), CVPPL and Sh. Murtaza Helal, Chief Engineer (O&M), BSPHCL, Sh. Abhijeet Kumar, Chief Engineer (Commercial), NBPDCL and Sh. Purshottam Prasad, Chief Engineer (Commercial), SBPDCL.
The above PPAs are valid for a period of 40 years from the date of Commercial Operation of the projects.
