CVPPL SIGNS TERM LOAN AGREEMENT WITH M/S PFC LIMITED 24-Mar-2025

Chenab Valley Power Project Limited (CVPPL), Joint Venture of NHPC LTD (51%) and JKSPDC (49%) has signed an Agreement with PFC Limited, a MaharatnaCentral Public Sector Enterprise and leading NBFC under the Ministry of Power, for Term Loan of ₹2147.508Crore (Rupees Two Thousand One Hundred Forty Seven Crore & Fifty Lakh Eighty Thousand only).
As per the Agreement, the Loan will be utilized for Development and Construction of greenfield Pakal DulHydro Electric Project (4x250 MW) on River Marusadarlocated in Kishtwar District of Jammu & Kashmir.
The formal signing of the agreement took place on 24thMar, 2025 at the Corporate Office of CVPPL in Jammu (J&K), in the presence of Sh. Ramesh Mukhiya, Managing Director, Sh. Vasant Hurmade, GM (C&P), Sh. Sanjay Kumar Gupta, GM (Finance), from CVPPL and Sh. Vishu Chaudhary (Manager-Legal) from PFCamong other key officials of respective organizations.
This collaboration marks a significant step towards sustainable energy development in the region.
