1. PAKAL DUL H E PROJECT
Capacity : 1000 MW
Details :The Pakal Dul H E Project of 1000 MW installed capacity is proposed on river Marusadar, a tributary of Chenab in district Kishtwar of J&K State. The project envisages construction of a 167 mtr high Dam, 2 nos. of HRT of 7.20 mtr dia with 10 km length, an underground Power House with 4 units of 250 MW each. The annual generation will be 3387 MU.
River : Marusudar, the main tributary of river Chenab at village Drangdhuran about 45 Kms from Kishtwar.
Location : Kishtwar district of J&K
Dam : 167 m high concrete face rockfill dam
HRT : 2 Nos, 7.2 m dia Horse Shoe/Circular shaped & 10 km long each
Power house : Underground near village Dul about 26 kms from Kishtwar.
No. of unit & size : 4 x 250 MW (1000 MW)
Annual Energy : 3330.18 MU in 90% dependable year

2. KIRU H E PROJECT
Capacity : 624 MW
Details : The project, a run-of-river scheme is located, in distt. Kishtwar of J&K State and is about 40 kms from Kishtwar. The Kiru H E Project of 624 MW installed capacity is proposed on river Chenab and envisages construction of 135 mtr Dam (High above deepest foundation level) and an underground Power House with 4 units of 156 MW each.
Dam : Concrete Gravity, 123 m high above river bed level (135 m high above deepest foundation level).
Location : Village Kiru bistt. Kisthwar of J&K.
Intake : 4 nos.
Water conductor system : 4 Nos. 5.5m (internal) dia each length varying from 316m to 322m Circular shaped Pressure Shafts/Penstock.
Power house : Underground
Tail Race Tunnel : 4 nos, length varying from 165 mtr to 190 mtr, 7.0 mtr dia each
No. of unit & size : 4 units of 156 MW each (624 MW)
Annual Energy Generation : 2363.55 MUs. (in a 90% dependable year)

3. KWAR H E PROJECT
Capacity : 540 MW
Details : The project, a run-of-river scheme is located in distt. Kishtwar of J&K State and is about 31 kms form Kishtwar. The Kwar H E Project of 540 MW installed capacity is proposed on river Chenab and envisages construction of 109 mtr high Dam (above deepest foundation ) and an underground Power House with 4 units of 135 MW each.

Dam : 101 m high above river bed level, (109 m high above deepest foundation level) concrete gravity dam across river Chenab.
Intake : 04 nos.
Water conductor system : 04 nos., 5.65 m dia underground circular steel lined Pressure Shafts

No. of unit & size : 4 units of 135 MW each (540 MW)
Tail Race Tunnel : 2 nos, Approx 2.6 km and 2.8 km in length, 9.5 mtr dia each
Annual Energy Generation : 2075.37 MUs (in a 90% dependable year)
