01 मार्च 2021 को 624 मेगावाट की किरू जलविद्युत परियोजना की डायवर्जन टनल का कार्य प्रारंभ किया गया 02-Mar-2021

On Ist March 2021, day lighting of 666 mtrs long, 9.0 mtrdiaHorse Shoe shaped, Diversion Tunnel of Kiru HE Project was achieved ahead of schedule inspite of lockdown in between due to covid pandemic. This milestone paves the way for diversion of river Chenab during October’2021 followed by start of construction of 135 mtrs high Concrete Gravity Dam. Simultaneously work on Main Access Tunnel to Power House, Cable cum Ventilation Tunnel, Adit to Pressure Shaft Top and stripping of Dam Abutments are also in progress.
